The Dream (part 1)
It was a Monday morning and I was sitting outside my biology class waiting for the class before to end when Sam ran up to me (we both had to take biology as a prerequisite freshman year) waving a flyer. "We have to go to this!" I took the flyer form her hand and read Greek week in bright orange letters on dark blue paper (blue and orange are UTA's school colors). "I don't know Sam I'm not really a Greek party kind of girl." " Anna you're not an anything kind of girl. Come on we're in college now, I think we should go to at least one real party before we get to old to get away with it. Don't you?" " Fine I'll go with you, but only this once and after that you better find another girl to go to these things with." "Deal" Sam said with a big smile one her face. That Monday was the first night the dream came to me. It was the weirdest thing I felt so tired as soon as I came home after biology; I still had to go to my speech class, but as soon as I laid down on my full sized bed I was a sleep. I never had that happen to me before, it was as though I had taken a strong sleeping pill. The dream was powerful, I mean powerful in the since that it almost felt like it really happened to me. Which didn't make since because I was watching a women who looked nothing like me. She was older and a different race. Her African features made her look younger then her early 30's but I knew she was 33, and I knew I was her. The woman, her name is Martha and she was waiting for someone at the end of a path canopied by maypole trees , the owner of the plantation she was a slave to. It wasn't there first time meeting, his name was Matthew and they were in love. Every night for the past 12 years they would meet to spend their nights together. They had one child together her name was Rose and she was beautiful. However, this night would not be like all the other nights because this night was the night Martha was kill by Mathews wife. I screamed at Martha to run, telling her that it was Mathews wife Lizzy that was coming down the path, but it was too late Lizzy shot Martha in the back; and that's when I woke up. In a cold sweat I laid in my bed, I was frozen, I couldn't move my arms or legs. I must have laid in my bed for five minuets as the sweat on my face evaporated, my muscles relaxed and my breathing became normal before I could move again. "What the fuck kind of dream was that?" I said out loud only for my cat Slylock to hear. I reached for my cell phone which was sitting on my bed side table. It read 7am! I had slept from 1pm Monday to 7am Tuesday, how was that even humanly possible without me waking up in the middle, I hadn't even readjusted my sleeping position from when I had fallen asleep. I had no idea what was going on but I had to get ready for my 8am English class, this scary experience with my dream state had to wait till this after noon.

The Beginning
Normal, that's what my life was like before I meet Austin Cooper. Let me first clarify what I mean by normal then I can tell you how Austin made my life, not so normal. First, I'm a freshman at the University of Texas at Arlington. I'm a full month into my collage experience. I came here with my one and only girl best friend Sam (most of my other friends are guys). I've never had a boyfriend and I never had to deal with drama (mainly because guys don't bring drama and Sam hates drama as much as I do). My days before Austin consisted of studying for tests with Sam in the library and then going back to my one bedroom apartment (Sam's parents wanted her to live in a collage dorm her first year) to play Age of Empires Online. So my life was not only normal, but boring. However, it was my life and no one else, so I was happy in my boring, normal life. Never once did I lose sleep thinking about love or soul mates. However, I did, like most girls do, have the occasional day dream about meeting a guy I was attracted to, but I never did, so I just stopped looking. In fact I started to believe that love wasn't real, like the Easter Bunny it was something made up to keep humans form multiplying. I think any girl would if they never meet a guy that they were attracted to in any way or at least start to think they were gay. Now thinking I was gay, never came up in my adolescence, mainly because I wasn't attracted to girls either and I thought boobs were gross. So normal was something I was comfortable with, but then every thing changed.
